The weekend of October 21st was the HUGE Pumpkin Festival in Keene, New Hampshire. So like good New Englanders we decided to rummage the house for costumes, brave the crowds and go. –>

I just got back from a business trip to the “Windy City” of Chicago, Illinois.
It was my first time in the mid-west and so I was really curious to see if all cities are just the same. I have been to many cities in the eastern part of the US as well as cities in Europe, Mexico and Canada. What makes Chicago unique is “the loop”. The city is built right on Lake Michigan, and the city itself, wraps itself right around her. I only really got to see Chicago by night. But it really might have been to my advantage. We left from New England FOR our New England leaf-peeping getaway on a Friday night after work. We figured it would be fun to see the same beautiful leaves from a different perspective, in New Hampshire. From MA it took about 3 hours to get to our destination:
