This is my favorite book on Italian cookery. It is a guide to all the classics of Italian food. From lasagna to risotto and tiramisu this guide features easy step-by-step directions with pictures for almost all the steps involved in the recipe. I have used this cookbook numerous times and everything always turns out the way it should. I haven’t made one recipe from this book that was not a hit!
This past week for Roberto’s birthday party, I made a favorite Roman snack to surprise him – Arancini – Fried Risotto Balls. With just Arborio Rice, some Parmesan and Mozzarella Cheeses and ingredients most people already have in their pantry closet, you too can make these delicious treats found on Page 281 of this wonderful cookbook!
Try them for your next party and have people talking about you and your cooking skills for weeks to come!
The book is full of beautiful pictures and delicious food that tastes the way it should – pure and simple Italian!

Being somebody who grew up in Italy, I can attest to the value of this book!
Besides recipes, the book includes a guide to italian foods and ingredients, which is the best I have seen in any cook books so far.. and the best thing is, the information they give on all the items is absolutely 100% correct.
An absolute must have for anybody who wants to cook the italian way.
Ciao!
