I'm jealous that your Roberto likes to experiment with salads; the most I've convinced P to stray from a basic lettuce (and maybe red onion) dressed with vinegar, oil, and salt was to switch from red wine vinegar to white wine vinegar occasionally. I *love* "full" salads, so when I eat them, he just kind of sneers (and then tries it and admits it's not bad, but won't actually eat a whole one himself).
