I have been in love with Bellydance for the past 1 1/2 years. I started taking it to get over my fear of dancing - I figured if I could learn to dance such an ancient and beautiful dance and perform it in front of people, I could certainly get up and dance at a wedding (something I was petrified to do in the past)! Not to mention, Middle Eastern Music is fabulous and my personal favorite! I feel very fortunate to have found Zuhela and Maia's classes so soon after moving to Florida - I am looking very much forward to the fall AND the Hafla next year! My family really loved it! To dance such a dance and memorize every single movement as this, is one thing. However, to experience and feel the passion while you dance is what sets a dancer apart. Zuhela & Maia are true inspirations. I am grateful for the "gift" Ibrahim Farrah has passed on to them and they to us(Benat Sharkien Dancers).
