When you go on Vacanze (vah-cahn-tsah) – Vacation if you are going to be there for more than a day, you will need somewhere to stay. Perhaps you will stay in:
L’albergo (lahl-bair-goh) – The hotel
La pensione (lah pen-see-oh-neh) – The small hotel
L’ostello (loh-stel-oh) – The hostel
If the sign says: Stanza Libera (Stahn-zah Lee-beh-rah), there are vacancies. If the sign says Completo (kohm-pleh-toh), there are no vacancies.
If you want to stay for only one night, you say:
“Vorrei (vor-reh-ee) una camera per una notte”.
If you want to stay for two nights you say:
“per due notti”.
For tonight say:
“per stasera (pair stah-she-rah)”.
