I second Lee’s motion for you to visit the Feeling Swell Restaurant on Anna Maria! It’s such a great little place. The food is amazing the service is wonderful. They even rent paddle boards, not that I was up to the challenge.

Next time your on the island you have to stop at FEELING SWELL. I have been there only twice since its opening and will be back being that I am a Bradenton resident. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner and late night musical entertainment that is fun, free form and passionate. A welcome addition to paradise for the young at heart and the young with heart.

Since your visit Matt & Dom’s Pastry Cafe has opened on Anna Maria. There is no place like this on Florida’s West Coast anyway. Co-owner Chef Matt formerly employed at Ritz-Carlton makes gourmet pastries and specialty desserts, his brother Dominic is house manager, runs Espresso & Smoothie Bar.
