I miss good coffee. Where I live now there are only 3 Starbucks and I’d rather drink paint thinner then their burnt coffee bean water.
That Thai coffee looked good. Drink a cup for me!

Jenn, Hi, This is the first time I have traveled over to this website of yours, and I’m glad I did! I had fun reading and getting to know you better, I have to SIL’s that live in Florida, and I hate to say, but everytime we go there, I’m so coffee deprived! I can’t get a good quality cup anywhere. I always think that coffee’s the last thing Floridians want to drink with all the heat they have, and so that’s why I can’t find anything good. Chicago may be cold, but it’s always good to come home to good brew everywhere!!!

Hey Marie! Nice to see you over here too! Florida coffee by far is not very good - I agree - there are some Starbucks, but I am not a huge fan of their coffee, so it is only out of desperation that I will grace their doors. However, St. Augustine is a whole other deal - it a college town, with transplants from all over the North. Hence the good coffee. Believe me, I am a coffee snob. St. Augustine reminds me like all the towns in New England I lived in -great coffee shops, ecclectic restaurants, cute shops, beautiful and historic, except it has the added advantage of the beach too! I recommend next time you come to FL to take a trip to St. Augustine and see what I mean!

Cruicial coffee in town used to be in the middle of cuna street they moved it at the end of cuna street as you saw when u walked by. Now in the middle of cuna street is tasting room you should try that restaurant as well it has good reviews at tripadvisor.com site.

have you been taking any day trips to the beach yet you know trolley takes you St.Augustine beach and brings you back into town if u wanted to go to the beaches.

Hi! How fun to read your site as I am thinking about moving to Saint Augustine and I love coffee! Can you tell me what life is like in Saint Augustine? I will be brining two small children with me. I have lived in NJ and Texas so this will be quite a different move.

St. Augustine is great - there is a lot of life here and a great vibe. If you like the beach and food and a small town feel, this is a great place. I hear it is wonderful to raise children here. Before here I lived in DC, MA and VT. And yes, it is very different!

Dawn you are definetely gonna like St.Augustine and surrounding areas not only it has full of history also surrounded by beaches. You can’t get bored around here. Its a pretty place to live.
