Ok. The next time I come to St. Augustine, put this on the list. Your narrative and photos makes it feel like I was there, but my tastebuds need to catch up!

Hi Jenn,
I enjoyed reading about you and Roberto's trip to Casa Maya. Smart that you get one meal and split, then split dessert. When in St. Augustine I will go there!

OK Mom! Sounds like a plan!

Thanks Meg. Yeah, we try to split stuff as often as possible - I find that we get a more correct portion size that way and miraculously still have room for dessert!
Do you have any recommendations for St. Augustine dining?

Hi Jenn, Yes I also love the quaintness of this unasuming restaurant. I stopped in one day for some hot cocoa - BOY! WAS IT GOOD! Not your average cup as it is made with hot milk and then special chocolate crunched up and blended in a blender. Just right for wandering around St Augustine on one of those blustery cold days. Also for some really good greek food, try Athena's.

What a great idea Amber - I will have to drop by and try one - before it gets too hot!
I love Athena's! They have a great breakfast too!

okay - i'll definitely try it!

I totally understand trying to convince others that Mexican is really good; aside from taco bell when i need my salt, fat & fake satiated fix.....

I'm a Calfornia native and trying to find fresh California inspired Mexican food out here is 'nil....trying to find GOOD Mexican food is almost 'nil!

I will try Casa Maya as well as continue to cook Calif-Mex @ home when inspired....

Thanks & Yum,
~ I
